About PC SpeedBoost

PC SpeedBoost Software

Welcome to the PC SpeedBoost Help Center. This section of our site provides all the information you need to make the most of your product. It also includes teaching materials that will help you learn how to install, run and use this software.

Purpose of PC SpeedBoost

We want you to run your computer just like you did the first day you bought it. It is possible. If you’re like most of us, you’d like to spend more time using your computer than fixing and maintaining it. Unfortunately, just like automobile, computers don’t always run the way they should.

PC SpeedBoost was created to help you deal with your computer when it runs slowly or with errors. PC SpeedBoost works with Windows to optimize things like CPU load and background processes. It scans your computer for registry errors that can slow you down.

Furthermore, it corrects all file association errors, resolves all .dll entry issues, and fixes other Windows errors.

Additionally, it removes old Internet browser files you don’t need anymore, and it corrects ActiveX Control problems. Furthermore, it deals with MRU list issues and addresses all application path conflicts.

About the Error Fix Selection Process

When using PC SpeedBoost, you will learn that you don’t need to remove every entry. Most of the time, you should allow the software to remove all the conflicts it found on your computer. If you are unsure about removing any item, simply uncheck the box next to its name.

Examples of items you wouldn’t want to delete from your computer: a firewall you know protects you from threats or an anti-virus program. (PC SpeedBoost is unlikely to try and remove these programs, but they do make good examples!) Any software that you know requires a certain file to run, you also would not want to eliminate even if it appears after the program scan.

PC SpeedBoost always creates and saves a full backup before it makes any changes to the Windows registry. So you can always restore a file later if you decide you need it back!

Advice for Beginners

It’s rare that you would remove a registry entry that you need to run legitimate programs when running PC SpeedBoost. Therefore, we recommend you allow the program to fix all problems it detects. If you have any questions about how this software works, please contact someone from our Help Center.
